I created this visual identity to communicate the integrated nature of community development, using an ampersand – a symbol of inclusion and pluralism – and a strong but human color palette.
Lawrence CommunityWorks revitalizes the city by focusing on its people, places and systems. Through affordable housing and neighborhood revitalization, LCW provides a broad spectrum of programs and services for adults, youth, individuals, and families.
The Weaver Network was a program within LCW to advance “the thinking and practice of Network Organizing – a form of placed-based community organizing and community building – both within the LCW network and in the larger world.”
